“Paper actiu” covers 11 years of Joan Tomás’ use of photography to create installations in urban space. These projects give voice to individuals and grassroots collectives in public space and encourage dialogue, mutual recognition and understandinglooks. The projects act as advocates for the community, generating democratic awareness and participation, raising voices up onto walls, in defiance, homage and patrimony.
